WarRock TrackLog 13 – Space Buds

Ever since I was little, I wanted to be an astronaut. Sorta. Not really. Actually, I can’t think of anything I’d want less than to be an astronaut, but it doesn’t mean the concept of space and astronauts floating around doesn’t totally inspire a lot of creative liberty to go a billion different ways with the concept.

That’s why Kevin Church and Ming Doyle’s sublimely bittersweet and hilarious webcomic The Loneliest Astronauts is such a great take on the concept of astronauts lost in space, who hate each other, who are kinda dicks to each other, but all told with the sad, longing quality of two people wanting to connect in an inherently lonely place. I finally found the track and the idea to get the right sentiment across, so I made this track. I also sing in this. Sorta. Enjoy, and please check out their stuff at the website.
