Euge,
This Ira Glass song is the business, brother. I got hip to it through my man Kevin Church here in Boston. I’m thinking there should be a music video with some relevant imagery to go with the flow you laid down on Mr. Glass. Would this be something you’d let someone get creative with? One of the up and coming youngblood filmakers here in Boston would be able to put together a tasteful and prop drop of visual to match the lyrics. Check him out out at http://iloveqp.com In the meantime, be easy and stay blessed.
This. is. so. awesome.

I’ve been listening to this at work. This is great, man.

Just listened to this three times in a row. Love this song, Euge. Love it.
I’m trying to work it into my vocabulary. Great stuff sir.
Brilliant!
Now we need a hip-hop ode to Carl Kasell!!!
From his morning anchor work on NPR….to his prized voice on players’ answering machines (for “Wait Wait — Don’t Tell Me!”)….that would be fierce!
Fab!! I am going to say this all the time – When I do my thing, I’m so Ira Glass.. rofl
Ira Glass is my hero. The perfect mix of curiosity, class & intelligent sex appeal. This song is SO Ira Glass.
Wow, thanks to PRI for the retweet. Thanks to everyone here who’s giving more love to the song.
I’m working with a DJ on an album for 2010, and there’s a chance he might be able to get me an appropriate beat for this one. Maybe we can have a professionally mastered version of “Ira Glass” sometime in the near future.
This is song right here is a prime example of why I like rap despite hating just about every rap song I’ve heard on the radio.
Superb.
Rap? Hip-hop? Eh… whichever. This track kicks ass, that’s what matters.
LAWLZ. Love it.
Just wanted to let you know, I’ve been listening to this all day. It’s awesome.

You are SO Ira Glass. . . He should have you on his show. I’m sure he’s heard this because I heard about it from his sister. It’s absolutely brilliant!!!
wait. WHAT?! From his SISTER? That’s awesome! Thanks for the kind words eeryone who I haven’t thanked since posting this up!
Yeah, and if I have my way I’ll get her to tell him to get you on the show and do a live performance. That’d be so Ira Glass, don’t you think?

Can’t stop listening to this joint, Eugene.
My pen pal Jenny hipped me to this song and I can’t stop playing it! I love Ira Glass (I even named my pet guinea pig after him) and this jam is the shit! I hope Ira appreciates the funky love!
Spiffy tune. My friend Aimee pointed me this way, and I dig it!
