“Andrew Garfield at SDCC” – TrackLog 95
If you don’t know what this is in reference to, read this.
So, Andrew Garfield made a pretty impassioned and awesome speech about Spider-Man, comics, and the need for heroes. It was one of those weird, rare moments of sincerity, you had to respect and love the guy for doing it in such a grand, obviously over-excited, and wonderful way. I wanted to write a song commemorating it. So I did. And here it is. And that’s that.
If you didn’t see, I dropped this mixtape:
Last week, which is a collection of B-sides, rarities, and unreleased tracks that I have collected along the way. It even has a commercial for a Dallas/Fort Worth local pizza chain that was made as a joke online one night that everyone except Chris Roberson and Allison Baker probably hates. Go check it out, it’s free (click the cover to download the .zip file).
ATLANTA people, come see me do storytellers raps at Jerry Farber’s Side Door on July 28 (info).
One last note, anyone wanting to buy a physical copy of my debut album, The War For Infinity, well…too bad. Digital downloads are now $10, and all the inventory of physical CDs must be saved for some future shows still in the works. If you really want one, email me. I’m sure we can work something out. If you want to read Chris Roberson’s lovely introduction in the CD liner notes, go to the Adam WarRock facebook page.
