I had writer’s block for a while, and my friend Charles challenged me to finish a song in one sitting, just to have something to listen to and show myself that I was capable of doing it. So I literally dug out four rhyme notebooks I’d had since college, and ripped out some pages and just strung together a bunch of lyrics I had sitting around, and then formed them into this song. The chorus is the definition of a lazy rhyme. Anytime someone rhymes something with “stereo” just know that they’ve already given up in that bar.
